A colouring book that’s all about them

Their name on the cover, the things they love inside, at the level that suits them. For ages 2 to 10.

Inside: “Mia says hello to a friendly T. rex”

How it works

Three steps and a few minutes. No account needed.

Every theme is checked to keep it kid-safe: no brands or film characters, no real people, nothing scary. Ask for one of those and we’ll suggest something close, like a dragon who bakes cakes.

Beginner: the unicorn castle
Mock-up: a child colouring a dinosaur astronaut page in a book with the name Mia on it, crayons on a wooden table

Storybook mode

Turn it on and the book becomes a colour-and-read: a short story with Mia as the hero, a line or two on every page.

Same pictures, same levels. It adds £1.50 to any book.

Add a story to Mia’s book

Page 1Mia finds a dinosaur egg under the slide. It is warm, and it wobbles.

Page 2Crack! Out pops a tiny T. rex with very short arms and a very big smile.

Page 3Mia calls him Pebble. Pebble eats three sandwiches and one sock.

Page 4They build a rocket out of boxes and fly it all the way to the Moon.

Page 5On the Moon, Pebble learns to jump. He jumps so high he waves at a star.

Page 6Home in time for tea. Mia tucks Pebble in and turns off the light.

Made for small children and the grown-ups who look after them.

  • No adverts, no chat, no other players

Nothing your child makes is shared with anyone.

  • It stays on your device

Doodle World keeps their doodle, stickers, stamps and stars on the device they play on. None of it is sent to us.

  • A grown-ups’ corner with your own PIN

Set daily play time and quiet hours, calm the motion, and choose which places, games and celebrations are on.

  • Children never see a price

Anything to buy sits behind the grown-ups’ PIN.

  • Nothing to rush

No timers to beat, no way to fail, no streaks and no countdowns. When time’s up, Dood has a big yawn and says night night.

The app: in development

  • Stickers to put on finished pictures
  • A grown-ups’ corner behind a PIN, with Face ID or Touch ID if you switch it on

Their name on the cover and on the “this book belongs to” page, a caption under every picture (“Mia swims with a friendly turtle”), and in Storybook mode the story itself. Most pictures come from our themed drawing library for each level. Pick up to three things they love and a few pages become whole scenes that mix them together.

Yes. Every theme is checked before anything is made: no brands or characters from films and shows, no real people, nothing scary or grown-up. If a theme can’t be done we say so kindly and suggest something close instead.

Suggest it on the order page, under the themes. We read every suggestion and use them to choose new pages. It doesn’t change your order: books are made from the themes you can pick today.

One PDF of the whole book, ready to print at home. The download link lasts 72 hours, so save it somewhere safe.

Printed books are coming soon. They’ll come with 20 or 30 pictures as a paperback or a hardback, printed on one side of each page, and be posted to the UK, the US and the EU. The PDF is ready the moment you pay.

The PDF arrives straight away: the download link is on screen and in your email as soon as you pay.
